Who is Member Services
Member Services is a non profit community service organization. We
provide consumer financial education programs and debt management
services. Member Services works to help debt-ridden families and
individuals take control of their financial futures, while educating
them to be smart personal finance managers, and giving them the tools
they need to move forward to a debt-free future. We are recognized by
the US Government as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Our
counselors are nationally certified and receive continual training in
financial management, budgeting, consumer credit and debt.

In today’s economy, more and more families and individuals are
struggling to pay their bills through no real fault of their own.
Studies consistently show that consumer debt is the highest it has ever
been, and more and more people are simply “over their heads” in debt,
making minimum payments on a debt they will never be able to pay off.

“last chance” that can keep you out of bankruptcy for a reasonable cost

cost associated with participation in a debt management program.
Mission Statement:
It is the mission of Member Services to provide free credit-related
financial counseling and education to low-income and debt-ridden
consumers, and to provide free and low-cost debt management services
including educational programs, secure payment processing, and
negotiation within the credit industry on behalf of our clients.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please
note that we do not offer credit repair services or debt settlement
services. We also do not offer bankruptcy credit counseling. If you are
contemplating bankruptcy, you may need to complete a credit counseling
course prior to filing. We do not offer such courses and our programs
will not qualify you to be able to file bankruptcy.
